Oooh, this is lovely. Syrupy sweet, thick, soft, rich and very meaty. Good dose of smokyness, very smooth and mellow barleywine. Like drinking very chewy cough syrup inside of the fire. Bonus for just being so incredibly smooth and flavorful.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Deep amber colour, dense off-white head. Aroma of beechwood smoke, thick sweet malts, very much bock-like as in Paulaner Salvator, caramel, sugar. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, sweet beechwood smoke, light hoppy, light floral, bittersweet finish. Full bodied. Tasty sipper but lacks a bit of depth to remain interesting.

Draught, TTO at Taphouse. Shared with Holmen1. Dark brown-red body, no lacing, minimal lacing. Smoked malty aromas, hints of dried fruits. Taste of bacon together with moments of raisin and caramel malts. Jam-like impression. Nice sipper that gets rather sweet in the long run. Perfect for sharing. (Copenhagen 10.05.2018).

Many thanks to kappldav123 for sharing! Deep malty and round smooth beginning. Soft caramel, hints of smoke in the nose, deep malty brown sugar but dry body. Hints of harmonising bitterness in the end, great balanced, dry brown sugar, very deep, malty in the end. Fantastic intense and concentrated, the alcohol is not there. Round and smooth till the end.
