On tap at Plevnan, pours a clear pale straw with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is dry and bitter, with straw, harsh bitterness and biscuity malt. Not a well-designed pils - quite harsh in bitterness, yet lacking flavouring hops. Not so good.

Aroma is very grassy with some grain. Flavour has lots of grassy hops too. Also some grain and hints of butter. Rather typical, but good bohemian pils and pairs well with the fry-up of the place.

Draught @SOPP 2011. Poured golden with a frothy, big lasting white head. nice saaz aroma, with some grassy notes as well. Slightly sweet malty, grainy and hoppy flavor. Good pilsener, enjoyable.

Draught @ Plevna, Itainenkatu 8, Tampere, Finland.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain. toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100701]

(Draught at Mansevesti’08) Golden. Clear. Medium sized quickly disappearing head. Hops in nose. Dry and medium bodied palate with lot of carbonation. Malts, bitterness and slight sweetness in taste.

Draught at Herman, Turku. Clear pale golden, no head. Grassy and grainy, medium bodied. Dry and crisp, yet rounded with long grassy bitter finish. Despite the saaz hops it feels more German than Czech. Very good anyway!

Pale golden body without any sign of foam. Citric aroma and flavour. Lemon and cinnamon are present in the flavour. Flat and dry impression (250ml draught at Plevna 06.10.2006).
