Clear and golden with a bubbly white head and the aroma of an 80s bitter, a heady mix of hops and malt and hay. It's a touch chalky, fresh and a little zesty with a hoppy bitter finish

[ As Exe Valley Fryer’s Thirst ].
ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, biscuit malt, earthy malt, damp stain - fusty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, biscuit malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, earthy - damp stain - fusty, light caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20200126]

Cask up the White Lady. It's a long way from home! Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt, biscuit. Taste has a faint floral note, light lemon, more malted milk biscuits. Sweet finish. Ok.

10/7/2019. Cask at the 30th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours dark gold with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, grass and tropical fruits with slight herbal and perfume notes. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bitter melon finish. 6353-10. Re-rated 7/1/2020. Cask at the Crosse Keys, City. Rather better, had lost the unpleasant bitter melon taste and less perfumed. More hoppy, nice bitterness.
