Mohawk Summer IPA är en balanserad India Pale Ale i klassisk amerikansk stil. Arom och smak domineras av frisk citrus, främst grape, med inslag av tropiska frukter. Smaken balanseras av små mängder karamellmalt som ger en svagt rostad ton med inslag av kola. Bitterhumlen är Magnum, aromhumle Magnum och Palisade, slutligen har vi torrhumlat med Magnum, Palisade och Simcoe. Förutom att vår sommar-IPA är grym att dricka som den är, passar den utmärkt till allehanda grillade rätter och matigare sallad med t ex fetaost.

Bottled:
Pours dark, hazy amber with a frothy head. Butterscotch nose with notes of resiny hops. Flavour starts with sweet butterscotch and a little bit of salty liquorice followed by a long, resiny, harsh bittterness. Could use some balance.

Bottle. Pours a deep thick orange with a small white head. Lovely. Floral and grassy hops in aroma. And malt. The taste is not very different from the aroma. Add some grapefruit bitterness and you get the picture. It has a "dirty" feel to it, with notes of metal. A quite anonymous IPA.

Bottled. Hazy amber, rich but bríef head. Tangerines top butterscotch in the nose. Sweet and lightly fruity. Richly hoppy with plenty of citrus. Solid bodied with clean mouthfeel and plenty of butterscotch. Citric bitter finish with resiny notes.

Bottle. Hazy orange/reddish with a small white head. Hoppy aroma but not as fruity as expected. Some grape, hay and caramel. The taste was rather pleasant, red berries, citrus, cookies and hay. Medium body and quite dry. Not that long aftertaste. Good beer but not wonderful.
