Mohawk Summer IPA är en balanserad India Pale Ale i klassisk amerikansk stil. Arom och smak domineras av frisk citrus, främst grape, med inslag av tropiska frukter. Smaken balanseras av små mängder karamellmalt som ger en svagt rostad ton med inslag av kola. Bitterhumlen är Magnum, aromhumle Magnum och Palisade, slutligen har vi torrhumlat med Magnum, Palisade och Simcoe. Förutom att vår sommar-IPA är grym att dricka som den är, passar den utmärkt till allehanda grillade rätter och matigare sallad med t ex fetaost.

500ml bottle picked up at Systembolaget Passagen in Stockholm and very much enjoyed on my hotel room after a long journey by train from Stockholm to Malmö. Clear, golden brown in body appearance. Mostly diminishing off-white head, leaving spotty lacing behind. Floral-fruity aroma with hints of sweet malts. Smooth tropical fruits to my taste buds with pine needles and dried fruits coming through. Long-lived, bittersweet tail, 30.07.2010.

Bottle. A hazy dark golden beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Fruity nose, very fruity actually, with tropical fruits, grapefruiit and some green pine cones. Bitter and fruity flavor, good bitterness! Pine cones and some malty sweetness too. Medium to full body. Long, bitter finish with lots of fruityness and some sweetness. A refreshing, quenching and tasteful beer I’d like to drink again. 100806

Bottle 500ml. @ Petalax Beer Festival 2010 - the 4th. edition.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, citrus - orange, grass and grapefruit notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100703]
