Clear amber with medium beige head. Mild hoppy aroma with toasted malt, caramel and pine. Flavour had plenty of hops, pine, grapefruits and toasted malt. Finished bitter.

Deep blond color. In the aroma there is a light smell of dirty water. Boring flavor like all Spendrups Lagers; the mouthfeel if possible is rounder than the average. Correct bitterness. Bad.

Bottle from Systembolaget. How should a macro brewers interpret a modern american lager? Of course it will be thiner and less hoppy than its cocky ad text and the US micros! They didn´t brew it for us to analyze...

Bottle. One would have expected a lot more from this beer on the basis of the comercial description. There is more hops in this compared with a regular pale lager from spendrups, although its still lame.

330ml bottle picked up at Systembolaget, Gyllentorget in Linköping. Amber coloured body over a small, white head. Lighter aroma of grass and pale malts. Malts and hints of dry, leafy hops in flavour. Soft carbonated. Rather thin and empty in the mouth. About drinkable (hotel room, 06.02.2010).

Bottled. Clear deep golden, mid-sized head. Light mango aroma. Sweet and medium bodied. Off-flavours from the poorly brewed industrial lager, such as decomposing vegetables and stale butter, strikes hard. The very thin layer of exotic hops can’t help much. Regardless what the commercial description says this is just another poorly brewed lager from Spendrups.

Clear copper with a rather large white head. Weak aroma of vegetables and bread. Where were the hops? Taste was also weak and boring. I found no hops in the taste however, some vegetables, bread, malt and some metallic notes. Body was light and the finish had a sharp taste of something that I did not like. Aftertaste was very short.

SB release 2010-02-01, bottle consumed Göteborg 2010-02-01 AR. sugar, honey with a hint of rosted malt (first I smelled the bottle, pored in glass eveything that I sened had disappeared...) AP: copper brown body, 2cm high big boubble white head - diminishing F: a plain hoppy flavour, something sour and medium + bitterness, after 20 sec some citrus tones devlopes. It’s a cheap lager 11,50 (approx 1 Euro) SEK so lets see if Spendrups (one of the big brewers in Sweden) will compete with the micro breweries. I expected something more doo.
