Canned, from Stockmann, Riga. Clear golden, firm head. Bready nose where prunes and slivovic lures under the surface. Mid sweet with medium body and roundedm, relatively firm moutheel. Fruity with a bit of that dirty, resiny saltiness that is often found in Polish/Russian strong lagers. Still it remains fairly drinkable. Bready malt with a shot of vodka is the lasting impression.

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and slight malty flavoured. Metallic and cornish. Light toasted malty and mild breadish. Bitter and cornish finish.

Pours golden/ amber with a moderate head. Starts of a with a pleasant sweet, caramelly maltiness, but with no supporting hops to counterbalance. The sweetness gives way to an astringent, alcoholic taste that does no good for the finish.

Bottle 500ml. @ Petalax Beer Festival 2010 - the 4th. edition.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, hay, sweet malt, apple, sugar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sugar residues. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100703]
