Bottle (kindly delivered by Allen!): A bit unclear, no head to speak of, sweetish-caramelly nose with a certain fruitiness; moderate sweet flavour, light bodied; shy hints of smoke in the sweet-wheaty finish, followed by a very delicate tartness. Not bad, but quite sweet and a bit thin.....

(bottle, 33cl, 4.5% abv) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a short and non-persistent frothy and tanned head. Sweet toasty malty nose with present wheat-character, restrained berry-fruity notes and a touch of smoke. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Toasty malty base with pronounced wheaty notes and a distinctive note of smoke-malt. Moderately dry and slightly bitter-tart finish with a slightly smoky aftertaste. Fine and interesting brew. 27.I.10
