After the popularity of Irish Cream Stout we decided to stick with our liqueur coffees and bring you Amaretto Stout. Maris Otter, Crystal, Rolled Oats, Wheat, Roasted Barley and Chocolate Malts lay down the perfect grain bill with that much loved Almond flavoured Italian liqueur, Amaretto, added for extra style and sophistication. Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Gryphon, Bristol 7/3/2019. Near black in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. MIlk chocolate sweetness, toasty malts, a touch of leafy hops and masses of almond character in the warming finish. A pleasant stout.
