Brewed April to June by Ridleys. Reduced to monthly May seasonal since the Greene King takeover. A rich golden ale with a light floral aroma that balances a fresh, clean bitterness with a slightly sweet hop flavour.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden or light amber, clear with a limited head. Focus in this beer is the amazing Challenger hops leaving a beautiful flowery aroma, but not much bitterness. Light sweetness in the palate. Another fine example of a light ale with lots of flavour. 101204

[Bottled] The aroma is very sweet from a good maltblend - much like Sam Adams Boston Ale. The appearance is a light red very bubbly beer with a small bubbly head - that disappears prematurely. The flavor is malty and sweet with strong orange notes and ending on a good bitterness. Which all in all makes it a very refreshing ale.

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, Sweden.
Orange to golden in colour. Flowery aroma. Very dry and very hoppy. Clean with orange and toffee flavours and really bitter finish. Flavourful, but with bold mouthfeel.
