Tap - Decent amber color, minimal head. This beer has light carbonation, a moderate malty flavor, and a somewhat thin mouthfeel. It’s better than usual for an AB product while still falling short of a truly good beer. Good if you’re options are very limited...

Bottle. Pours darkish brown, clear... reminds me of food coloring in water with some bubbles. Stinky sweet "cheap" aroma of some caramel malts- or what AB pretends are caramel malts. Flavor is full of "cheap beer," corn, tootsie roll, and funk. Blech.

Definitely one of the better AB products. Taste is malty--almost a burnt malt flavor that mixes nicely with sweetness. In spite of the burnt and sweet flavors it is not heavy or overdone, though. Very good for an inexpensive macro.

As a beer, not so good. As an AB product - surprisingly complex. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a dark brown color with a very small head. The scent is sweet with only a hint of maltiness and smells like cola. Very odd. The mouthfeel is thin and watery. The flavor is very sweet with a mild bock maltiness. Tastes like a watered down version of some bocks I have encountered. The cola scent really puts me off. The bottle mentions hops, but I can not detect any at all. There is a slight bitterness. Overall uninspiring, but not really offensive either. The draft has even less character - though for some reason that seems to help.

Looks exactly like a Coca-Cola (pretty fitting tasting this in Atlanta) with absolutley no head. Malty aroma with a bit of caramel sweetness. Not filling, light-bodied; Sweet flavour...not too much in the taste. Overall, not as bad as I thought it would be, but nothing more. I had this beer on draught at a crummy bar in Atlanta, Georgia on 25-September-2003, but you can find it just about anywhere here in America.
