The unique and harmonious blend of English and South Australian hops gives Trelawny a distinctive character of the old and new world. Named after Bishop Trelawny from Cornish folklore, this beer has a strong and loyal following in the South West but its flavour is equally as popular outside of its heartland.

Pours clear and golden, fairly solid white head which leaves some lacing. Malty aroma with hints of citrus fruits. Quite refreshing in the mouth, smooth, zesty fruit hints, some caramel. Nice.

Bottle, 3.8%. Good rough hop aroma. Clear copper colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is sweetish, fruity, papery, and quite refreshing. OK for the ABV.

Amber and bright w a thin head. Earthy and with a slightly honeyish floral, crystal malt....nice ale, unusual use of galaxy but a flavoursome, well-rounded bitter.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 23rd Nov 13 in The Kings Arms, Oxford during a heavy pub-crawl. Light rusty colour with a full white blanket as a cover. Fruit and caramel biscuit aroma with floral notes. The taste was also fruity and slightly maltier than hoppy, with semi-sweet caramel tones easing through the beer throughout. Nothing spectacular here, just a well make and easy to drink UK session Bitter: ideal when on a mission like I was on the day I had it.
