The Ship Inn, Mousehole. Cask. Clear amber gold beer with a small off white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, moderate carbonation. Light malt, touch of cream. Light fresh orange with good tangy peel. Whisper of lemon. Light finish. Not bad at all, well balanced.

[10/5/13] Cask at some shitty pub in Brixton, London. Aroma of butter and some malt. Sweetish and buttery flavor with some malt, light graininess, a hint of fruitiness and a slightly bitter finish. Quite light-bodied. Lots of diacetyl.

Mid to light brown. Clear with not too much head. Aroma is of candied yams and citrus peel. A heady malt scent also pervades. Bittersweet taste with an extra bitter finish. Hoppy aftertaste. A lovely experience.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is mild herbal and toasted malty. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Light herbal. Dry and grassy into the finish.

Cask at the Cleveland Arms - Bayswater, London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a lingering, foamy white head. Nose has mellow tangy citrus and a bit of pale dough malts. Light sweet flavor, simple dough, faint astingent ataw. Light bodied with soft to fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish, light doughy pale malts, light bitter hay. So so.

Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Pours clear orange copper (extra copper!) with a few beige bubbles. Aroma of light pitted fruit. Med body. Flavor of light pitted fruit and mild caramel with just a hint of grass. Carbonation is strong, finish is fruity and bitter. Nice variation on a UK standard.

Cask at the Rising Sun, Berkhampsted - 28/08/12. Clear golden amber with a thin off white puddle atop the glass. Malty nose with toffee and sour dark fruits. Tastes of dark fruit, wood, slightly sour, earthy. Medium bodied with a slightly sour bitter dry finish.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty, bread, toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120506]

Cask at the Goat and Tricycle, Bournemouth. Poured a clear copper colour which looked really special when held up to the light. A thin white short-lasting head with some heavy lace. A very peachy aroma which was also present in the taste. The fruit and bitterness hits the back of your throat shortly afterwards. A really tasty, smooth and refreshing ale and perfect for a session.
