(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of faroeviking. Pours a clear, dark, orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Aroma of burned malt. Fairly light in body, nutty accents and some roasted malt. Ends fairly dry with a burned touch and only a subdued bitterness. 230407

Dark amber color; some hop aroma. Some malt, and some hops in the flavor, quite good.

Cask handpump at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Very deep ruby with thin tan head. Soft and choccy beer. Goodish choccy malts, some dark fruits. Bit of sour yeast on aroma. Not much evidence of hop. Much the same flavours on a very short finish.

A deep red beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of nuts. The flavor is sweet nutty while the mouthfeel is very smooth.
