Can from Beers of Europe. Appearance - opaque black with a fawn head. Though there are some orange chinks. Nose - nuts and molasses. Taste - more nuts, light toffee and a hint of metal. Palate - close to medium bodied with a dry finish. Overall - very quaffable indeed.

Bottle, 3.9%. No aroma as far as I can tell. Clear shiny dark chestnut colour. Small frothy off-white head. The flavour is watery with a hint of sweet liquorice. Fruity and watery finish. Tastes all right, but is very thin, even considering its ABV.

Bottle. Pours slughtly hazy very dark ruby / copper brown with airy light tan head. Very mild aroma of malt, with touches of caramel and yeast. Sweetish flavour of the same, with notes of roast and nuts and faint fruity hints. Nutty Nd slightly roasty aftertaste. Reasonable for the style.

0,5 l bottle from the English Shop in Bonn. Clear, very dark reddish-brown with a slowly diminishing, creamy, tan head. Weak aroma of roasted malts, nuts and dark chocolate with hints of dark fruits. Sweetish taste of roasted malts, dark chocolate, licorice. Slightly metallic and bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy texture (a bit watery though), flat carbonation. Okay beer but not fantastic.
