Can. Clear, dark brown beer with a beige head. Sweetish aroma with caramel, roastiness and some salty licorice giving it that little extra that it needed to avoid being boring. Yes, it is only 3.2%, but still. Caramel, roasted malt, some licorice notes and a nuttyness in the flavor, which finishes roasted and malty. Quite thin body, even for a low ABV beer like this, but it is a nice, pleasant mild, well suited for sessions. (070928)

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 6 Aug) Very dark brown colour with brief head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of wild berries (blueberries) and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with dark berries and notes of chocolate. Rather dry, thin body. Very ... eh ... mildish.

No aroma, the appearance resembles coca cola and the flavour is typical of a traditional mild (watery). Palatable and better than average.
