2008-11-06, cask conditioned at J.D. Wetherspoon - Hamilton Hall, London, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Dark brown color, no head. It has a mild chocolate aroma and a rather more pronounced chocolate flavor, slim body. Simple but pleasant.

2008-10-22, cask conditioned at Harp, London, 5-3-6-2-11 = 27
Dark brown color; thin creamy head. I appreciate the lack of roasted or black malt flavor, and the smooth mouthfeel, nevertheless aroma and flavor are too light, too watery, yet subtle. Easy drinkable.

From cask at the Henglers Circus. Pours deep dark brown with a dense and tan head. Roasted malty and somewhat butterish aroma. Roasted malty and slight fruity flavoured with a mild bitterness. Slight acidic into a finish that keeps the mild roasted note hanging on. Smooth and slight breadish.

Third pint, cask, hand-pulled at The North West England section at GBBF. A mild with a very dark body and without any head. Malt nutty aroma followed by smooth liquorice hints in flavour. Flat and dry in the mouth. Thin to medium bodied, but still good for its low strength (08.08.2008).

Cask at the GBBF 2008, hand pump / beer engine. Black colour, dark reddish brown in the highlights, low head. A moderate nuttiness in the aroma, hints of mild coffee. The flavour is smooth with a slight roastiness and some nutty notes.

Cask at GBBF 08. Very dark ruby. Some butter, tad of diacetyl maybe. Some bitterness on finish. Decent fullness for a 3.3% beer. Some vanilla, some blackcurrant. Really quite impressive.

Can @ home. Dark ruby/black appearance with a creamy head. Taste is soft, chocolate and roasted malts, but a bit thin and watery. Not a bad beer though.
