On 1st October 1985, founder John Pazio brewed the very first ale from Titanic Brewery - Premium Bitter. This beer went on to become Anchor and was a firm favourite for many years. It was only right that we brought it back in its original form to mark our 40th anniversary. A full-bodied traditional bitter ale with a classic blend of malty and hoppy notes throughout.

Cask at Sun, Stafford. Pours golden amber with a small scummy off-white head but excellent lacing. Malts to the fore in the aroma together with traces of floral hops and honey. In the mouth it is slightly bitter with a smooth and creamy texture. Flavour has mixed hops, corn and honey with hints of alcoholic strength and lucozade coming though later leading to a dry finish. This is decent – an old school premium bitter.
