Impenetrabile e seducente come la notte. Imperial Stout, forte, estrema, pericolosa. Indimenticabile.

33cl bottle, courtesy of sebletitje, pours with a deep darkness that supports a light mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, toffee, molasses and chocolate. Nice. The taste has a pleasing mix of chocolate, dark roasted malts, toffee goodness (which always hits the spot), coffee notes and more smooth slightly sweetened burnt malts and chocolate. Neat-o.

Bottled@HBF2013. More or less pitch black colour with a small brown head. Aroma is strong roasted malts, almost ashtray like ashes, some liquorice, caramel, coffee and mild tobacco and alcohol sweetness. Flavour is coffee, roasted malts, mild liquorice, some raisins, ripe fruits and mild alcohol. Pleasantly balanced and hides the abv quite nicely.

(Bottle,0.33 l, at HBF2013) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had roasted malts and liquorice. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, chocolate, liquorice, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A good imperial stout.

Pours pitch black with a bubbly white head. Aroma of roasty malts, salty licorice, chocolate, coffee and espresso. Taste is sweet, salty and roasty with notes of licorice, chocolate and espresso. Finish is dry and roasty with some hoppy notes and hints of licorice. Quite tasty and balanced imperial stout.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks idonis. Very dark brown to black with a beige to light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruits, burnt notes, a bit of nuts and alcohol. Bittersweet flavor with dark chocolate, a bit of cocoa, light fruitiness and a dry finish with a bit of burning alcohol. Medium to full body. A decent Imperial Stout.

33cl bottle, BB 07/06/2016, lot#IMO1612.
