Wilsons Original Bitter was a traditional Manchester beer produced by Wilsons Brewery in Newton Heath, which closed August 1986.
Production was transferred to Samuel Webster & Sons Halifax brewery, who were then acquired by Courage in 1990. Webster's was then closed in 1996.
