1/2/2019. Key-keg at the XT Brewing tap takeover at the New Inn, Colchester. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma of grass, lemon, hops, malt and flowers. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. As lagers go it's a good one but key-keg's an expensive way to get a lager.

Keg at the Bootlegger, 02/02/18. Clear golden to light amber with a decent white cap. Nose is toasted malts, grains, caramel wafer, corn husk, bready aroma. Taste comprises toasted grains, straw, pale malts, light biscuit, faint caramel. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent refreshing lager affair.
