A traditional best bitter, but done the Moor way with extra flavour. Magic for beer drinkers!

Bottled at home. Hazy amber with a big white head. Fruity aroma with peach and tangerine, along with floral and malty notes. Fruity sweet flavour with wooden and grassy hop notes and a good bitter finish.

RBESG 2010, cask at Brasserie 4:20
Hazy light amber color; medium head (the sparkler). Aroma of white refined sugar, and light yeast, not the best expected one. Flavor is on the line as well, with dry toffee and similar white sugar feeling, and light green apples; correct bitterness. Drinkable, but out of target, and some fermentation excess.

Cask at 4:20. Clear, ruby-gold pour with a fluffy, white head. Dry, woody malts on the nose. Some fruits in the flavor, mild sugars, more woodiness, mild grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faint sweet flavor, some faint ripe fruits as well, mild earthiness, dry toast. Alright.

Cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. An amber coloured pour with a small white head. Hoppy, malty aroma. Tastes hoppy, fruity, rather thin. I like Moor beers but this one just didn’t do it at all.
