Nice golden coloured body with a soapy white head. Aroma of yeast, malt, light hops, and a bit of honey. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong bready malt taste along with a light floral taste coupled with some sugar and a tiny bit of nuts. Aftertaste is just malty - nice light malts ,but nothing else. Overall, a nice kolsch - good to try and would recommend as a lighter summer beer for others. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased on 03-May-2008, during the Champion’s League Final on 21-May-2008.

Very clear golden body with a medium frothy white head. Honey, corn and light grain aroma, with some light cheerios hints. More cheerios in the flavor with some honey following through. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Rated May 2008. Courtesy of Quake1028. Pours clear gold with white head. The aroma is sweet with malts and a vague fruity and also earthy hop notes. The taste has a sugar sweetness cut by a bitter hop spice note. The hops build to a tepid level into the finish with a moment or two of malty sweetness and spotty malt graininess.

bottle - Pours clear gold with a one finger white head. It has a light pale malt aroma with a touch of hops. The taste is of sweet bready malts and some nice mild, crisp hops. It’s light and refreshing with a mildly dry finish. Pretty good.

12oz bottle. Clear yellow-gold color. Sweet, fresh aroma. This beer is a really nice, straight-forward, low alcohol beer...pretty much sentencing it to low ratings on Ratebeer. I think this is an injustice, as this beer is pretty good. Fruity, sweet finish. Crisp hop balance. I wouldn’t say it completely captures a true Koln Kolsch, but it is a really nice beer..

12 oz bottle. pale yellow color and appearance. Smells like old blast furnace slag. Fairly bitter on the initial palate impact, somewhat like many pilsners I’ve had. Flavor is clean and clear. Finish has a bit of bitter linger.
