Bottle, gift from Jim- cheers! Clear gold with a thin white head and a light fizz. Crisp and refreshing, with light pine, grass and lemon. A little understated and rather forgettable, but pleasant enough.

50cl bottle from Marks & Spencers, Camberley. Pale amber with a thin white head; strawberry aroma; grainy, jammy fruity taste - presumably pastuerised; and a crisp grassy bitterness to finish.

Cask @ Doctor Duncan’s, Liverpool. Fruit hopped with a light easy drinking texture and a small frothy head. There’s some sugar sweetness in its nose.

Cask at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Gold pour with a white head. Citrus, apricot and light malt aroma. Bags of citrus in the flavour with a whisper of spice. Quite refreshing.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - pale golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and grapefruit. Taste - grapefruit and grapefruit pith. As it goes on its all pith. So bitter. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Too dry for such a thin body. Overall - way too bitter for me.

Cask at the Euston Tap, 03/08/14. Murky orange amber with a moderate off white head that retains. Nose is earthy hops, mineral notes, bitter orange, straw. Taste comprises orange peel, straw, hint of red grapefruit, chalky mineral bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Decent enough earthy hop number.
