Virkistävä ja väriltään raikkaan vaaleankeltainen Hartwall Classic 1836 Wheat Ale on belgialaistyylinen vehnäale, jossa yhdistyvät vehnä- ja ohramaltaan aromit. Vehnäolutpintahiiva tuo esiin sitruunan, neilikan, korianterin ja appelsiininkuoren vivahteita, joista syntyy pikantti ja maltillisen katkera olut.

From Backlog. 0,5 litre Bottle from Taxfree On ferry to Finland. Cloudy pale Golden with white head. Malts, hops, Wheat and banana in aroma and taste.

(Keg at Kaski, 20170512) The beer poured pale yellow and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and clove. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, clove, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A decent but bit watery hefeweizen. Turns harsh when warmer.

500ml bottle @ Nosturi. Pours hazy yellowish with a small head. Aroma of banana, spices and yeasty notes. Taste is sweet, yeasty and slightly spicy with some wheaty notes and banana. Finish is smooth and sweetish with some hints of banana. Okay easygoing wheat beer.

Tap at Public Corner, Vasa. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Banana, citric notes. Light-bodied. Some banana but mostly citric wheat with thin mouthfeel. Not totally hopeless but not to something to drink again.

50cl bottle @ Länsisatama terminaali. Pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. Esters, banana, wheaty aroma. Slight sour notes. Flavor has banana, mild spicy notes, some sweetness. Long finish with banana. Thin, but quite refreshing.

Draught@Public Corner, Vaasa. Slightly hazy golden colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, some herbs and earth. Flavour is wooden, grainy, some wheat and earth. Good aroma, but not too nice flavour.

Tap at Otto K. , Oulu. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, banana, wheat and malts. Very basic and little bit of weak.

Smell of yeast, banana, some coriander. Amber colour, white head. Aroma of mead, banana, some grain. More weizen than wit. Soft carbon, rather light body. Not the best possible weizen, but a nice surprise among Hartwall products.
