Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy warm amber with a dense off-white head. The nose has a little caramel and roast. Medium body, roasted malt, burned caramel, slightly nutty with a whiff of tobacco. Dry, roasty finish with an ashy touch. Quite decent. 100910

Bottle. A hazy, dark amber beer topped by a finger-thick beige head. Nuts and lightly roasted malts in the aroma. Quite fruity too, but all weak. Nutty, bready caramel flavor, some dried fruits and a yeasty touch. Pleasant bitterness level. Bready, nutty finish with caramel. Medium body. A nice brown ale, but I think it would be better with some food, it’s a bit boring on its own, a destiny it shares with most brown ales. 100716
