Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. IMO not a dunkelweizen more like a dunkel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100518]

50cl bottle. dark slightly hazy brown, smooth pale light brown head. nuts, caramel and toffee dominates the aroma. flavor is roasted grains, almost charchoal, wheat. a little watery. as adviced, a light beer, i think it lacks a bit of balance to the roasted notes. Still, okay , more flavor than the usual 4.6% alc. beer - but pretty thin.

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, and some wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and caramel, as well as a bit of wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Tasting at Papsø
Dark brown color, hazy; small head. Roasted nuts aroma. Slim body, roasted malt flavor, dusty. Correct bitterness. No wheat, just a boring Brown Ale.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy and opaque dark brown with a vague orange hue and a beige head. Dark roasted malts in the nose - almost burned. Medium body, ashy and hard roasted, no real yeastiness. Hard roasted malt finish. Nowhere near a Dunkelweizen. This is a wheat Stout! 010410
