The bottle looks really good as well as the beer in the glass. Dark orange, very, very zippy. Starts strong but not alcoholic, quite yeasty and intense notes of banana. Starts a bit like banana-juice. Yeasty notes get a bit weaker, beer is also malty, finish modest sourish, a bit grasy. Well balanced finish, very drinkable for a weizenbock!

Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, clove, wheat malt and mild astringent alcohol aroma. Cloudy amber color with giant tan head. Sweet banana/orange and bitter weedy hops and astringent alcohol flavor. Pretty nice but on the rough side.

Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, firm beige head; sweet moderate to solid fruity-wheaty nose, some cloves, some caramel underneath; moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour, medium bodied; robust caramelly-wheaty finish with a light acidity and a faint tinge of warm alcohol in the aftertaste. Quite a good Weizenbock......

(bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a huge and dense, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and yeasty malty aroma with a present wheat-character, accompanied by fruity notes of citrus, peach and a tinge of cloves. Sweet and moderately sour flavour, medium bodied with a sparkly and a bit sharp carbonation. Wheaty, cara-malty and moderately fruity taste with light clovy spice; sweet and slightly sour fruity and clovy finish with notes of alcohol shining through. Not a perfect but pretty likeable Weizenbock. 10.I.10
