On tap at Strathcona. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Dusty bread malts and some cocoa powder on the nose. Flavour has more of that dusty bread and cocoa with some banana clinging to the edges. Light notes of vanilla and maple syrup. There's a lot going on and the stuff in the periphery is better.

Poured from the tap. Near black with small beige head. Lots of artificial banana (think those hard banana candies) with a dry bitter roasty dark chocolate finish. Doesn’t do it for me. Too artificial, Porter quality is a little rough, and the blend of the two is lacklustre. Novelty beer.
