Dark brown colour with no head. Aroma of dark chocolate, cacao, roasted nuts, vanilla. Full bodied, dark chocolate flavour, moderate sweetness, a fair bit of alcohol warmth, some vanilla, toasted nuts again. As it gets warmer, it gets more cohesive, and rich. Very good.

500ml (thx, Jonathan M.!) @ Alex's becoming a former house. Appearance: pours like oil, dark brown withalmost no head. Aroma: a lot of American oak, a bit of dark fruits, hot. Some sweetness. Taste: definitely boozy, dark sugars, American oak, moderately sweet. Overall: kinda a bit on the thin side, a lot of American oak, though, nice sweetness. Good, but not more than that.
