From tap. Deep black body. Tan coloured, small head. Smoked aroma with hoppy fruits. Backbone flavour of vanilla oak revealing roasted, sweet malts and lighter notes of dark fruits. Dark bitter chocolate to the ending. Well balanced and a pleasure to drink (Copenhagen Beer Festival, 08.05.2010).

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has strong notes of whiskey and alcohol as well as some woody notes and light notes of chocolate. The flavor has very sharp alcohol notes combined with notes of whiskey and chocolate as well as light notes of wood, leading to a dry roasted finish, where the notes of whiskey and wood lingers. A bit too alcoholic in impression for me.
