(375ml bottle from the brewery bottle shop) Pours nearly clear medium red with a small but stable pink-white head. Aroma of vinous blueberry and medium bodied Pinot, herbal and spicy, accents of blackberry, moderately funky, jammy sweetness but with a little acidity, some funky accents and moderate barrel as well. Flavour is definitely quite deep berries in a rather unique way, lots of earthy rich blueberry and red wine grape quality, the blackberry is just in support rather than dominant as usual, lots of berry skin tannins, some spice hits and dried leaves, quite some woodiness playing with the skins and giving a bitter astringent bite in the finish, some berry pips too, and a little dusty back-end funk. Medium bodied, slightly oily, soft carbonation. All together very wine like, more than expected, with the barrel aged saisons showing through well under the fruit.

375ml (thx, Phill S.) @ home on 37th birthday during COVID-19 quarantine. Appearance: a bit hazy purple with a rose head. Aroma: nice American saisonwild notes with berries and barrel notes. Taste: along the same lines with lots of fruits and berries with creamy notes coming from oak, tannins. Overall: good one, a bit too woody maybe, but it's pretty good.
