Denmark, Aug-Sept 2009. Little bottle from the hotel room’s mini bar. I never had any cider apart from Strongbow I think, so why not try it. Cleargolden with no head. Apple aroma and taste (no surprise there :D ), combines both swwet and sour apples and there is a slight bitterness i nteh background. Quite refreshing.

75cl bottle, clear orange, small white head. aroma is apples, sourness, slight acidity. flavor is fresh aple, good amount of sourness and acidity, slight vineagre. paralte is disturbing, this cider is far too much carbonated, it’s difficult to drink. total impression is something like 2/3rds spanish cider, 1/3rd danish sodapop-cider.. well ahaad of the danish macro competition.

Bottlle, 75cl corked. Pours a clear, golden body under a thin layer of white bubbles. Apples, a little sour touch and a yeast touch in the aroma. A little alcohol too. The flavor is slightly sour, with apples doing the most of the job. Alcohol and some yeast and cellar too. Astringent, medium body. The finish has a tad much alcohol, and else there’s apples and some cellar. Not my favorite cider, but sure drinkable. (080905)

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully diminished white head. Aroma is acidic apple with a dry wooden note. Flavour holds a solid dry acidic apple flavour, quite clean and without the classic sulphorish notes. Dry acidic finish with a mild citric note.

Bottled. A dark golden cider with a very fast disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet and very apply with an underlying hint of acidity. The flavor is sweet and slightly acidic with strong notes of apples, but also light notes of wood. For a Danish cider this is very nice.
