Flink is beautiful, sparkling thirst quencher. This fresh, light pale ale is low in alcohol yet full of flavour. We mixed in a bit of wheat malt, which results in a firm body and a very pleasant, soft mouth feel. A light dryhop with Galaxy and Mosaic hops is responsible for the tickle of subtle, fruity hoppiness.

Golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have light citrus and a little bitter hop. Not very flavoursome especially compared to the old version.

0.33 l bottle from ’AH’ (Zaltbommel), brewed with Amarillo and Mosaic hops, best before May 2018. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny and slightly herbal-spicy aroma of orange, passion fruit, pineapple, tea leaves and some pine. Sweetish, fruity, herbal-grassy and slightly spicy taste of orange jam, mango, tangerine, tea leaves, lemongrass and some pine, followed by a short, medium bitter, herbal-grassy, slightly resiny and moderately dry finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Easily drinkable, refreshing thirst-quencher, quite heavy on the Mosaic though.

Een heerlijk doordrinkbier. Mooi van kleur, lekkere geur. Gezien het lage alcoholpercentage verrast de krachtige smaak. Uit fles.

Bottle at home. Slightly unclear golden with white head. Sweet malts, sweet grain, soft sweet dough, fresh grassiness, peach, fudge and citrus. Moderate sweet and light fresh bitter. Medium body, malty slick feel and soft carbonation. Very good! Drinks like a hoppy wheat ale. The label deserves a brighter look imho. Bottle looks like it contains a doppelbock or barleywine. --- Beer merged from original tick of Flink on 30 Dec 2017 at 11:56 - Score: 7. 33cl Bottle from AH. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruity, citrusy hop, some tropical fruit, grapefruit, hint of sweat. Flavour is light sweet, malty, toast, sweat, light spicy, dry, light citrusy, hint of pine. Light bodied. Not much different from the first version IMHO.

Bottle at home. Completely clear golden with white head. Light pils malts, soft bready notes, light citrus hops, soft grass. There’s some nice US hops but also a fresh German pils style grass touch. Light sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied. Besides different hops this is definately also way more filtered than the old Flink, maybe even different fermentation as this has barely any Belgian or yeasty notes left.
