Served from tap by the brewer during a trading session at the beer festival in Copenhagen. Off-white, lacing-head. Mahogany coloured body. Roasted smell of darker malts. Not-so-sweet flavour of malts combined with hints of liquorice and a vaguely touch of dark fruits. Medium bodied. Over par for the style (CBF, 07.05.2010).

Bottle 500ml.Unclear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, dusty, bread, anis seed, light caramel, coffee notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100410]

50 cL bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is roasted and breadish. Bitter and mild citric flavoured. Roasted and spiced finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with a beige head. Sweet roasted malts and vanilla in the nose. Medium body, sweet, sweet roasted malts and a very subdued malt bitterness. Very easy and quaffable. 100410

Draught.Dark brown colour with small beige head.Aroma is rosted and sweet,like brown sugar and wheat.Flavor of caramel and licorice,nice mild finish.

Dark brown with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and anise. Flavour was weet with roasted malt, caramel, rye bread and english liquerice notes. Finished sweet.
