DØE. Clear very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and some odd berries. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 250513

Bottle (backlog). More or less black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some nuts and mild chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, ashes, nuts, some caramel and mild toasted notes. A bit leathery as for the finish. Almost more porterlike than Schwarzbierlike.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some roast. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottled. A chestnut brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, bread, caramel, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted and bready finish.

Bottle @ BeerBiker/Scheffel’s 100 countires celebration. Pours amber brown with a creamy head and lacings. Nose is caramel, bread and vague roast. Flavor is grain and caramel. Medium bodied. Dry end.

Draught at KØ10. Hazy very dark brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is slightly citric, a bit roasted. Mild, tart infection.
