12oz bottle. Orange brown with a small, lasting head. Pungent sweet dark malt/fruit aroma. Classic Bock tastes, rich caramel and toffee. Some interesting dark fruity tastes as well. Quite nice for 6.8%, the alcohol is never abrasive on the palate. Balanced, tasty, and quite drinkable.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Gilly's, 4/24/09

Aroma: Very malty, caramel, honey, nutty, lots of complex fruits
Appearance: Clear dark red-brown color
Flavor: Sweet malts dominate the flavor
Palate: Medium body, decent drink
Overall Impression: A decent Bock, didn't love it, but I'd drink it again. Had a nice complex maltiness to it.

12 oz bottle. Clear red pour atop which a thin off-white head forms and disappears. Aroma is a honey-like sweetness, caramel, and biscuit. Hints of hops. Flavor is toasty biscuit with honey and caramel, dryer than the aroma. Clean finish with a touch of alcohol and hops. Well-executed.

Bottle. Pours with a tan head that is somewhat fluffy and large over the clear mahogany brown body. Good lace. Aroma of honey, chocolate, toasted malts, cinnamon, wet dog, and freshly baked bread. Taste is grainy with fresh bread and a slight metallic off-flavor. On the sweet side of things. Light bubbles water like mouthfeel.
