Pumpkin Beer

Shared a 12oz bottle. Poured a dark orange color with a slightly off-white head. Aroma was spices, some pumpkin notes. Flavor was pumpkin notes, pie characteristics. Drinkable, interesting.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold. Nose and taste of gingerbread cookie, cinnamon, snicker doodle, nutmeg and hints of pumpkin. Medium to light/medium body,

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled 6/10/2012. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of fresh pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove, brown sugar, bread, and herbal. Damn nice aromas with good strength and balance; very authentic. Taste of pumpkin, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove, brown sugar, caramel, and herbal. Lingering notes of caramel, biscuit, spices, and brown sugar on the finish for a bit. Good robustness of flavor with decent balance; spices are not overdone at all. Minimal cloying sweet flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy and slick mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with almost zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a really good pumpkin ale. Taste did not live up to the aromas; but it was well balanced and very drinkable. Definitely enjoyed this, and it is a nice example of the style.

Bottle. Pumpkin and light pumpkin spices aroma. Hazy amber with a moderate, quickly diminishing ivory head. Vegetal malt and bitter spice flavor. Light to medium body. Not a fan of this one. It lacks malt sweetness to balance out the bittering effect of the spices.

from a bottle, shown. smells like sweet pumpkin spices. taste is much less sweet yet pumpkin thing comes thru with an unsweetened pumpkin flavor and spices associated with such fruit. not bad overall and a tad better than the average pumpkin beer. Gets a little better towards the end and I think I detect a slight tartness there.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy orange with a small bit of white head. Aroma of cinnamon, baking spices and pumpkin. Taste is lightly sweet. Taste of cinnamon, pumpkin and clove. Medium bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation but not much of a finish. Overall, pretty good. I would drink it again.

Bottle. Clove, nutmeg, and pumpkin malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with small head. Slightly sweet nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin flavor. Very nice pumpkin beer.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity spicy pumpkin aroma. Fruity malty spicy cinnamon and pumpkin flavor. Has a fruity spicy cinnamon and pumpkin finish.

Bottle 12fl.oz.Unclear light medium amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, spicy, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100410]
