Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Lots of spice on the nose, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and a bit of cardamom. Tastes more of the same with a sweet pumpkin pie character. Nice balance between malts and spice. Slightly medium bodied, but spice flavors are nice. Not bad at all.

Picked up at Bottles and Cans. It pours a clear amber with a thin head that was gone in the blink of an eye. Very fruity cinnamon, extremely freshly baked apple pie like with a touch of raisins. The taste is similar, I don’t get pumpkin I get delicious apple-raisin-cinnamon pie with the crumbly crust. Thin bodied with a spritzy carbonation. As a pumpkin beer it doesn’t work for me I give it a 12/20 as an apple pie beer it gets a 16/20 either way it is quite sweet and could be cloying for some people. I like it but a 6-pack would be a bit much, more of a once a day beer. If you are having trouble getting through a bottle it pairs very very nicely with ice cream - think pie a la mode. Overall pretty good and it paired exceptionally well with a Tokyo Banana too.

12 oz. bottle part of my Fall trade with queenholly. Slightly hazy orange color with quickly vanishing head leaving nothing in the wake. Nose is light gourd and all spice. Taste is decent. Pumpkin pie filling, cinnamon, honey, and cinnamon. Body is light and a touch watery. Can you find better pumpkin ales? Of course you can but this is still a decent drinker.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with a medium sized foamy orange-cream head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tangy with vague spices and faint vague fruits. The flavor was tangy with elements of bread, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper. Medium length tangy finish with bread, honey and spice lingering. Medium body. Solid.
