Vielen Dank an wastl für dieses Bier! Dunkelbraune Farbe, leicht beiger Schaum.

Aroma has coffee, nuts, some chocolate and berries typical to Danish ales. Flavour has coffee, chocolate, some roasted malt and hints of berries. Nice schwartz!

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized fluffy head, that leaves some lace and lasts for quite a while. Aroma is caramel, nut, some slight toasted notes along with mild ripe fruits. Flavour is quite similar but the fruityness is quite a dry and bitter thing. Nice bittery sweet finish.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, clear, stable fluffy medium-sized head; not very dry caramelly-nutty nose, traces of toasted malt, fruits and leather detectable; slightly drier bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; lingering smooth dryish caramelly-fruity and also bitter finish. Chapeau: a very well crafted brew......

Blumig hopfig-malziger Geruch. Fruchtig-malziger Antrunk, aromatisch hopfig. Sehr gelungen! 12/11/12/11/12/12

Bottle. Strong dark chocolate malt and hay aroma. Dark brown chestnut color with large tan head. Sweet chocolate and molasses malt and lightly bitter herbal hops flavor. Nice body. A little light but overall a very good beer.

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a ruby shine and a beige and tall foamy head. Sweet and roasty malty, slightly leafy aroma with notes of caramel, chocolate and also traces of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour with notes of hoppy and roasty bitterness, medium bodied with a slightly crisp carbonation. Roasty malty body with a touch f caramel, chocolate, as well as leafy and subtle berry-fruity notes; sweet and slightly roasty bitter and slightly hoppy finish with light but noticeable alcoholic notes. True to the style and also quite robust. 24.III.11
