This beer is available throughout the year but is ideal summer drinking and one to tempt lager drinkers in to trying some proper beer! Pale malt, together with large amounts of caramalt and wheat malt, produce a straw-coloured beer. Saaz hops from the Czech Republic provide minimal bitterness (19 IBUs) and a lovely aroma.

Bottle from Vine & Grain. Appearance - golden with a very light hop haze. Foamy white head. Nose - lemon and grapefruit zest, a hint of biscuit. Floral too. Taste - grapefruit and also an edge of tropical. Not much bread or biscuit this time, but zesty grapefruit on the end. Palate - creamy texture though light bodied. Dry, but elegant finish. Overall - a lovely blonde with an extra dimension of fruitiness.
