Bottled, thanks Rune! Dark ruby, clear, small creamy head. Sweet and caramelly. Boldly malty with rounded mouthfeel and low hop rate. Low bitterness. Quite enjoyable, but one-dimensional.

Dark fruity aroma from a deep dark brown body. Dense off-white foamy head. Flavour is dominated by dark fruits, but has also got hints of honey sweetness and roasted malt. Slightly yeasty in the ending. A well made brew, with Yuletide spirit (Yule beer testing in Tromsø, 08.12.2006).

Medium beige head disappears quickly. Dark red body. Faint, sweet, buttery aroma. Very little aroma. Soft, sweetish buttery taste and faintly roasty aftertaste. Very little taste. Disappointing! Boring and nondescript. (0.33l bottle.)

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, clear, dark amber with a handsome, creamy, off-white head. Lightly spicy nose. Medium body with a good, malty fullness and a surprisingly bitter finish. Somewhat atypical Christmas beer. 290106

An amber beer with a thin ligth brown head. The aroma is very light with notes of caramel. The flavor is dominated by caramel, leading to a dry and slightly hoppy bitter end.

Bottled. Dark brown. Hardly any head. Unvaried taste. Too much carbonation. Rating 2005: 3-2-4-2-12.

RERATED 2006: Bottled 0,33l. Dark red brown coloured. A shortlived tanned head. Faint aroma of malt. Rich malty and fruity flavour with a touch of sweetness. Sweet sourish aftertaste.

Bottled. Light brown with a small beige head. Roasted malt in aroma. Quite one-dimensional most of the way, but the bitterness in the end is followed by sweetness. Thin body with some fizzyness. Their "Extra Vellagret Julebrygg" is a better choice. Try last years recipe next year, Hansa. (051128)
