50cl bottle. Pours opaque black with a cappuccino head - looks great! The nose is intense coffee. The taste has coffee and bitter chocolate. The palate is medium to big in structure and texture and there is a slightly bitter rather than creamy finish. Overall, a great stout.

Bottle. A clear, chestnut to dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Toffee, a hint of roasted malts, cocoa and butter cream, some dried fruits. Medium body, quite dry even though there’s some sweetness. Coffee-cocoa-butter cream, roasted malts and some raisins in the flavor. Roasted, buttery finish. Overall, not bad, but too buttery, not bad, but I can’t really imagine I’d want to finish a bottle. 101009
