St. Giles pours dark brown with an off-white head. The nose is a combination of traditional Scottish malt and American Cascade hops. The taste is full-bodied, ruch and smooth with coffee and chocolate flavours. Brewed with the intention of adding a slight twist to the Scotch Ale style and named after one of Edinburgh most famous landmarks, St.Giles Cathedral.

Bottiglia. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata, permanendo in maniera sufficiente.

330ml bottle: BB 3rd Jan 2021. Obtained from my local Dobbies Garden Centre. Poured into a thistle shaped glass at home on 14th Jul 2020. Red hue to the brown body, weak off-white head. Malty and fairly sweet, as you'd expect, nutty too.

Bottle online from the brewery. Pours hazed amber brown with a beige towards tan head. Aroma: roast malts, toasted to smoked, bread, caramel. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, mildly fruity, caramel. Medium body, soft carb. Lingering caramel malt finish. Not a great example

Mahogany brown colour with thin head and no carbonation. Aroma and flavour have a lot of sweet malts and hints of cocoa.

Hazy amber brown colour, good frothy beige head, half-way lasting. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, light treacle, dark bread. Taste medium sweet, malty, brown sugar, light treacle, caramel, maple syrup, earthy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, light caramel and chocolate, earthy notes, very nice.
