St. Giles pours dark brown with an off-white head. The nose is a combination of traditional Scottish malt and American Cascade hops.The taste is full-bodied, ruch and smooth with coffee and chocolate flavours. Brewed with the intention of adding a slight twist to the Scotch Ale style and named after one of Edinburgh most famous landmarks, St.Giles Cathedral.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty, toasted to smoked, caramel and bread. Mild fruity, caramelish sweet and roasted. Lingering caramel malt finish.

330ml bottle bought at Vino Wines on the Southside, Edinburgh. Ruby-brown body with a faint layer on the surface. Slightly roasted, dark chocolate malts to the nose along with a spicy touch. Spiced, grainy malts to the taste buds. Rather short bittersweet end (hotel room, 28.11.2010).

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grass, citrus - orange, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100417]

Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan Tasting, April 2010. Pours dark amber/copper with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is "orangey" bitter hops. Yeast, bread and caramel. Medium bodied. It has a dusty homebrew like feel to it!

Bottle, 5%. Seemingly clear dark brown colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour has a little yeast at first, some sweetish malt, with a clean, dry, roasted finish.
