Brimstone 1000 is a ruby red IPA brewed specifically to celebrate our 1000th brew at Cheddar Ales.
Crafted using the finest malted barley it is our hoppiest brew yet made using a blend of the "biggest" US hops available (Colombus, Citra, Chinock, Centennial and Ekuanot) A fiendishly volley of citrus fruit and chewy, pithy bitterness help to balance the rich malt background. Another dammed good beer, repent and enjoy at your leisure.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - autumnal red to brown. Lovely off white head. Nose - cherries and caramel with bready base. Taste - toffee/caramel but red fruit cutting through still. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and roasty through the middle. Dry-ish finish. Overall - good. Should be under ESB style, mind.
