Brimstone 1000 is a ruby red IPA brewed specifically to celebrate our 1000th brew at Cheddar Ales.
Crafted using the finest malted barley it is our hoppiest brew yet made using a blend of the "biggest" US hops available (Colombus, Citra, Chinock, Centennial and Ekuanot) A fiendishly volley of citrus fruit and chewy, pithy bitterness help to balance the rich malt background. Another dammed good beer, repent and enjoy at your leisure.

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - autumnal red to brown. Lovely off white head. Nose - cherries and caramel with bready base. Taste - toffee/caramel but red fruit cutting through still. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and roasty through the middle. Dry-ish finish. Overall - good. Should be under ESB style, mind.
