On cask at the White Cross, Lancaster. Appearance - golden amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - light biscuit and toffee. A bit elusive. Taste - toffee confirmed. Spiced biscuit. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry and crunchy through the finish. Overall - a bit ordinary for such a high quality brewery.
