On tap at the garden city brewery/taproom clear deep dark mahogany. Thin tan head . Medium toasted malt aroma and flavor. A little woody sweetness and smooth palate. A little malt bite at the end

Draft at Ruckus. Dark, dark brown, but still clear, patchy cream colored head, streaky lacing. Light roasty aroma, burnt toast, nutty. Taste stays focused on the roasty aspects, light bitterness, and mildly bitter. Abrupt finish.

On tap at the brewery pours out cola brown topped with a sand head. Nose is nice rich roast malts some grain notes and a little ash. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate rich roast some pitfruit and a little spice.
