This brew offers all the hop-forward balance and flavor characteristics you know & love in an American IPA except the color will keep you wondering how it is considered an IPA at all! We utilize dark malts to create the color and low roasted, toffee flavor. It's smooth and incredibly drinkable. Also, a 2017 Bronze medalist at the Best of Craft Beer Awards in Oregon (home of the Black IPA). Absolutely a must try here at Slack Tide!

12 ounce can. Opaque dark brown color. Remarkably dense tan head. Excellent lacing. Rich roasted malt aroma. Notes of chocolate and charred wood. Bittersweet roasted malt flavor upfront. Big bitter hop bite. Complex and spicy. Notes of grapefruit and pine in the intense finish. Excellent!
