The quintessential British session beer. Just enough hops are added to produce a slight bitterness to balance with toasty characters from the malt. Low in Carbonation with bubbly head and and dark brown hue.

Draught at source: pours brown with beige head. Chocolatey, nutty. Weird flavor for a mild to be honest. Not doing it for me.

16 ounce can. Clear dark orange brown color. Large frothy tan head. Subtle toasted malt aroma. Slightly tangy toasted malt flavor has a hint of brewed tea and earthiness. Notes of white toast as well. Thin bodied. Light dry finish.

On tap-retaining tan-dk brown with a copper tint. A-roasty/slight cocoa-med malt. T-follows with a hop bitter. Nice.
